Lovely Lilly

At a young age, I was introduced to Lilly Pulitzer by my grandmother who had a huge love for the brand. Since then, I have always been fascinated by the bright colors, patterns, and uniqueness of it all. Since I've lived in Georgia, seeing a Lilly print brings me back to my childhood in Naples, Florida and times I spent with my grandmother.

I am absolutely in LOVE with the new items that launched this week! I've already picked out a few that I would love to wear to my graduation... (hint hint, wink wink). Here are my favorites:
And my very favorite...

Anyone else dying over the new Lilly?

Dream Job Come True

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to share with you an exciting project that I have had the honor to be apart of. Juliana's Boutique is a new online clothing store that offers amazing pieces at the best prices (seriously, so much more affordable than other boutiques). Last weekend I was the stylist (dream job) for their inventory and lifestyle photo shoots. It was SO much fun!

Seriously, how amazing are the pieces?! Picking out the clothing and seeing them modeled (by the most beautiful girls ever) was a major proud moment for myself.

And the best part: you can get 10% off by using my coupon code WINTER1056

Fallen Leaves

Happy Wednesday!

Now that is November, fall is finally making an appearance! I couldn't help but pull out my J Crew puffer vest and truly get into the spirit. Leaves on the ground, crisp mornings, constant trips to Starbucks... I love this time of the year.

Stay tuned for my next post where I will feature the newest boutique, Juliana's! They just launched their website TODAY! I.Want.Everything.

Until next time!

DIY: Candy Crush Costume

Happy (very belated) Halloween!

I'm probably a little too hyped up on candy right now, but what else is new?!
I am a firm believer in not paying ridiculous amounts of money for a Halloween costume. Instead, I like to craft my own, and take things from my closet.

This year I figured what better thing to be than my alter ego, a Candy Crush Addict.
What You'll Need:
Plain Black Shirt
Fabric Glue
Plastic Baggies
Candy Printables
Actual Candy
Cheap Headband
Hot Glue Gun

Step One: Print and cut as many candies out as you want
Step Two: Glue candies to black shirt with fabric glue
Step Three: Select a few candies to be covered in the "jelly" by using the plastic baggies
Step Four: Glue plastic baggies over the candies
Step Five: Let the shirt sit over night
Step Six: For the headband, simply hot glue the pieces of the actual candy
Step Seven: SUGAR CRUSH!

I paired my shirt with a simple black skirt, tights, and fun heels. You can wear this just about anytime of the year, to show your true dedication to CC.

Recent Recap

Happy Wednesday!

I had such a busy/awesome weekend at home. Here are some photos to see what I was up to...

On Saturday we went to an apple orchard where we had all kinds of fall fun! From milking cows to a moonshine history museum (yep, you read that right), and stuffing our faces with yummy apple fritters.

On Sunday Drew and I attended our high school/college friend's wedding. It was held at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa. It was breathtaking!

And how adorable were the mason jars?!

I hope you all have a great rest of the week! Stay tuned for some fashion related posts in the next few weeks. :)

Favorite Fall Traditions

As the temperature drops, I can't help but "fall" into my fall tradtions. Every year I embrace as much of the season as I can. Here are a few of my favorite things and traditions I love to do:

1. Pumpkin picking with my family
(photos from last fall, we are going next weekend!)
2. Eat candy corn all day every day (obsession)
3. Fall scented candles from Bath and Body Works
This is seriously the best! I buy at least two or three to last me throughout the year.
4. Pick-up a show on Netflix
Seriously... how amazing is this show? Mad at myself for waiting this long to watch it!
5. Use my crockpot at least once a week

What are some of your favorite fall traditions?
