Fall Cravings…

Hello!

Long time no post. I have been SO busy with post-grad life that I haven't had a chance to sit down and write a little something. Juliana's has been doing amazing :) I love being able to do what I've always dreamed of doing since I was very young. Being surrounded by beautiful clothes brings me so much joy everyday!

Now that it is finally September I'm totally looking forward for the weather to start cooling down. While it's still in the high 80s here in GA, that doesn't mean I can't start fall shopping!
Here are some of the things I cannot wait to get my hands on this season:

Camo Vest. Okay, who am I?! CAMO?? I have never owned a camp piece, and I could never imagine myself in anything that pattern. But, when it comes to J Crew, I think I can make an exception! I'm obsessing over this vest and am already planning outfits!

Tartan Hat. I wanted this SO BAD last year, but it unfortunately sold out before I could get my hands on it. I think this is so cute for bad hair days!

Tory Tote. The number one item on my current wish list! I mean, could you die?! I love these totes because they are so great to use year round! You can definitely get your money's worth out of these beauties.

Tartan (again, love the pattern!) Scarf. Zara had these last year, and I think just about every fashionista had one! For some reason I did not purchase it. BUT I did find them for Juliana's :) This is going to keep me so warm this year!

Booties. I am on the hunt this year for some comfy, chic, and affordable ones! These are a little out of my price range, but they are my inspiration. I will be on the lookout for a pair similar to these. Link below if you have any good suggestions ;)

Socks. Is it weird that I have an obsession with socks?! I just think they are so cute and keep my toes nice and warm!

What is on your fall shopping list?!

Bachelorette Recap

Happy Tuesday!

I'm so, so, so excited that The Bachelorette is back! Yes, I am fully aware that it is a producer driven show and is pretty fake for the most part. It is still, however, my biggest guilty television pleasure.

Let's start with the fact that Andi is boss. I love her! She has an awesome career, and from what I can tell is a great role model for women.

She is also a GA peach, and only lives 20 minutes away from me! Bonus points for that.

Can we just have a moment for the beauty that is Josh Murray? Holy. Smokes. (Spoiler Alert) I really hope they are able to stay together! According to Reality Steve's blog, he is the final one. We shall see what happens!

Looks from last night's episode:

Obesssssed with her dress! Can't wait to see what other outfits she will have!

Crock Pot Caesar Salad Wrap

Hello!

Lately I have been super lazy when it comes to making dinner. I'm always so tired by the end of the day! Because of that, my crockpot has become my BFF during my last few weeks of the semester (can't believe I'm graduating in less than a month!). So I wanted to share my favorite recipe I've been loving lately. It's super easy and comes out soooo yummy!
What You'll Need:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3/4 cup Caesar dressing

1/2 cup parmesan, shredded

Salt & pepper

Romaine leaves

Spinach wraps
Tortilla strips (optional)

What You'll Do:
Arrange chicken breasts in abase of slow cooker. Pour ½ cup water in and cook on low for 3 hours.
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Drain water.
Return chicken to crockpot and stir in Caesar dressing, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 25-30 minutes. Remove and serve on wraps and put tortilla strips on top.

Enjoy!

What's your favorite crockpot meal when you're in a hurry?

Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade Recipe

Happy Friday!

Is anyone else SICK of this cold weather?! Not to mention it's been bi-polar… sunny on the weekends, and freezing during the week. My poor closet is so confused.

I try to enjoy the warm weather as much as I can, and part of that includes sipping on my newest addiction, Starbuck's Passion Tea Lemonade. This stuff is the best (but the price is the worst)!

Since I cannot afford to pay $4 everyday for a drink, I thought making it at home would be a much better decision!

What You'll Need…
Tazo Iced Passion Tea (got mine at Target)
Lemonade

What You'll Do…
1. Bring enough fresh water to a boil to fill your pitcher
2. Pour the boiling water over the filter bag
3. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then remove the bag
4. Refrigerate your pitcher
5. Once you are ready to drink, pour half tea/half lemonade into your glass

and ENJOY!

Spring Colors

I am so beyond ready for spring. The warmer weather, new fashion, and all of the beautiful colors that bloom! One of my favorite weekly activities is to paint my nails. I've already started picking out bright colors for the new season. These are my favorites above.

What are you looking forward to in spring?

Celery Smoothie

Happy Hump Day!

I'm so excited, because my grandparents are letting me borrow their old Vitamix! I immediately ran to Publix to get some fruits and veggies to start juicing. My goal is to make one smoothie/juice a day.

Today I made a yummy celery base drink. I LOVE celery, but if you're not a fan, you can substitute it for another veggie.
What You'll Need:
1 cup baby spinach
1 small green apple
2 cups of chopped celery
1/2 cup of strawberries (or any berry!)
1/2 cup water
ice

What You'll Do:
Blend, Blend, Blend!

Enjoy!

So far 2014 has been quit the roller coaster! After only being a week in, both my apartment and parent's house flooded, I am going to my last first day of school (ever), and I've been making some big life decisions! This year is not going to be easy, but I am ready for the challenge!

Here are some of my favorite ootds I've been sporting in the new year:

Insta Lately...

Finals and work have kept me so busy the past two weeks! There were points where I just wanted to give up and sleep my life away. As cheesy as it sounds, what keeps me going through the days are planning my outfits! I love clothes so much. It really is a problem.

So here are a few #ootd posts from my Instagram during the past few days:
You can find this ahh-maze fur at the best store ever, Juliana's Boutique!

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things...

It is finals week, which means I should be studying... HA! I'm blogging instead, duh.
There are SO many things that I've been obsessed with the past few weeks...

I got these samples at Ulta. Let me tell you, these are the BEST beauty products I've used in a long time. The mascara is magic and the B6 spray works wonders!

This fringe scarf has become one of my most used accessories! It's super soft, and I love the unique touch of fringe. Isn't Mary so gorgeous?!

These sunnies look exactly like the ones from Prada...except a MAJOR price difference! I may have a little sunglass obsession... it's fine.

Who else is excited to watch the Sound of Music with Carrie tomorrow night?!

Now I suppose I should get back to Pinterest studying

Vintage Florals

This is one of my favorite dresses to wear for this season. I love how it looks vintage, but it's vibrant colors don't make it look old or dull.
I added an extra pop of color by wearing these maroon colored tights from Target
And of course, is any outfit complete without a fur vest?! I bought mine at Tj Maxx last year, but here is my most recent vest purchase from Juliana's Boutique
You can find my monogram necklace here, and my tassel necklace here
You may also notice my ahhhmazing handbag. This was gifted from my grandmother. It's a vintage Chanel from the 1920-30s. It is something I will keep forever!

What are your staple pieces for this season?

Santa Baby (Gifts for Him)

So what do you get your guy if he has everything, or you've only been dating for a few months, or a few years? Checkout my list of suggestions that is in everyone's price range!
1/2/3/4/5

Is it just me, or is it 10 times harder to gift shop for guys than it is for girls?! I like to be creative and buy Drew something that he will actually use throughout the year. This will be our sixth Christmas together, and let me tell you... it was not easy coming up with what I wanted to get him (does that make me an awful girlfriend?).

Another idea is to give him a scrapbook with fun pictures, memories, notes, etc. I've done this for Drew a few times and he loves his. It's something you can both look back on and has sentimental value, which is worth more than a nice watch or shoes.

Do you have any creative gift ideas for guys?

Current Favorites {For the Holidays}

It's late and I have a test tomorrow. So what am I doing? Blogging, of course!

I've been thinking about all of the fun holiday events/parties I have coming up, and realized that I have nothing to wear! I also don't want to have to spend a lot of money or be an outfit repeater...
Here are some ideas from Juliana's Boutique that will keep you stylish this season!

Remember-- you can use my coupon code winter1056 for 10% off your entire purchase!

What items will you be rocking this season?

Dear Santa...

1/2/3/4/5/6/7

It's that time of year again where I start day dreaming about what I would love to find under the Christmas tree. Of course, most of my splurge items are no where near a reasonable price range. A girl can still dream, right?

So, realistically speaking, here is my list of reasonably priced items that I would love!

What's on your Christmas list this year?

Lovely Lilly

At a young age, I was introduced to Lilly Pulitzer by my grandmother who had a huge love for the brand. Since then, I have always been fascinated by the bright colors, patterns, and uniqueness of it all. Since I've lived in Georgia, seeing a Lilly print brings me back to my childhood in Naples, Florida and times I spent with my grandmother.

I am absolutely in LOVE with the new items that launched this week! I've already picked out a few that I would love to wear to my graduation... (hint hint, wink wink). Here are my favorites:
And my very favorite...

Anyone else dying over the new Lilly?

Dream Job Come True

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to share with you an exciting project that I have had the honor to be apart of. Juliana's Boutique is a new online clothing store that offers amazing pieces at the best prices (seriously, so much more affordable than other boutiques). Last weekend I was the stylist (dream job) for their inventory and lifestyle photo shoots. It was SO much fun!

Seriously, how amazing are the pieces?! Picking out the clothing and seeing them modeled (by the most beautiful girls ever) was a major proud moment for myself.

And the best part: you can get 10% off by using my coupon code WINTER1056
