Fall Cravings…

Hello!

Long time no post. I have been SO busy with post-grad life that I haven't had a chance to sit down and write a little something. Juliana's has been doing amazing :) I love being able to do what I've always dreamed of doing since I was very young. Being surrounded by beautiful clothes brings me so much joy everyday!

Now that it is finally September I'm totally looking forward for the weather to start cooling down. While it's still in the high 80s here in GA, that doesn't mean I can't start fall shopping!
Here are some of the things I cannot wait to get my hands on this season:

Camo Vest. Okay, who am I?! CAMO?? I have never owned a camp piece, and I could never imagine myself in anything that pattern. But, when it comes to J Crew, I think I can make an exception! I'm obsessing over this vest and am already planning outfits!

Tartan Hat. I wanted this SO BAD last year, but it unfortunately sold out before I could get my hands on it. I think this is so cute for bad hair days!

Tory Tote. The number one item on my current wish list! I mean, could you die?! I love these totes because they are so great to use year round! You can definitely get your money's worth out of these beauties.

Tartan (again, love the pattern!) Scarf. Zara had these last year, and I think just about every fashionista had one! For some reason I did not purchase it. BUT I did find them for Juliana's :) This is going to keep me so warm this year!

Booties. I am on the hunt this year for some comfy, chic, and affordable ones! These are a little out of my price range, but they are my inspiration. I will be on the lookout for a pair similar to these. Link below if you have any good suggestions ;)

Socks. Is it weird that I have an obsession with socks?! I just think they are so cute and keep my toes nice and warm!

What is on your fall shopping list?!

Bachelorette Recap

Happy Tuesday!

I'm so, so, so excited that The Bachelorette is back! Yes, I am fully aware that it is a producer driven show and is pretty fake for the most part. It is still, however, my biggest guilty television pleasure.

Let's start with the fact that Andi is boss. I love her! She has an awesome career, and from what I can tell is a great role model for women.

She is also a GA peach, and only lives 20 minutes away from me! Bonus points for that.

Can we just have a moment for the beauty that is Josh Murray? Holy. Smokes. (Spoiler Alert) I really hope they are able to stay together! According to Reality Steve's blog, he is the final one. We shall see what happens!

Looks from last night's episode:

Obesssssed with her dress! Can't wait to see what other outfits she will have!

Crock Pot Caesar Salad Wrap

Hello!

Lately I have been super lazy when it comes to making dinner. I'm always so tired by the end of the day! Because of that, my crockpot has become my BFF during my last few weeks of the semester (can't believe I'm graduating in less than a month!). So I wanted to share my favorite recipe I've been loving lately. It's super easy and comes out soooo yummy!
What You'll Need:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3/4 cup Caesar dressing

1/2 cup parmesan, shredded

Salt & pepper

Romaine leaves

Spinach wraps
Tortilla strips (optional)

What You'll Do:
Arrange chicken breasts in abase of slow cooker. Pour ½ cup water in and cook on low for 3 hours.
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Drain water.
Return chicken to crockpot and stir in Caesar dressing, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 25-30 minutes. Remove and serve on wraps and put tortilla strips on top.

Enjoy!

What's your favorite crockpot meal when you're in a hurry?

Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade Recipe

Happy Friday!

Is anyone else SICK of this cold weather?! Not to mention it's been bi-polar… sunny on the weekends, and freezing during the week. My poor closet is so confused.

I try to enjoy the warm weather as much as I can, and part of that includes sipping on my newest addiction, Starbuck's Passion Tea Lemonade. This stuff is the best (but the price is the worst)!

Since I cannot afford to pay $4 everyday for a drink, I thought making it at home would be a much better decision!

What You'll Need…
Tazo Iced Passion Tea (got mine at Target)
Lemonade

What You'll Do…
1. Bring enough fresh water to a boil to fill your pitcher
2. Pour the boiling water over the filter bag
3. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then remove the bag
4. Refrigerate your pitcher
5. Once you are ready to drink, pour half tea/half lemonade into your glass

and ENJOY!

Spring Colors

I am so beyond ready for spring. The warmer weather, new fashion, and all of the beautiful colors that bloom! One of my favorite weekly activities is to paint my nails. I've already started picking out bright colors for the new season. These are my favorites above.

What are you looking forward to in spring?

Celery Smoothie

Happy Hump Day!

I'm so excited, because my grandparents are letting me borrow their old Vitamix! I immediately ran to Publix to get some fruits and veggies to start juicing. My goal is to make one smoothie/juice a day.

Today I made a yummy celery base drink. I LOVE celery, but if you're not a fan, you can substitute it for another veggie.
What You'll Need:
1 cup baby spinach
1 small green apple
2 cups of chopped celery
1/2 cup of strawberries (or any berry!)
1/2 cup water
ice

What You'll Do:
Blend, Blend, Blend!

Enjoy!
